23rd August - 28th August 2010 Introductory cost £220 (includes all course manuals and assessment fees) You must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of the course and be able to meet the following criteria:
• Jump/dive into deep water The qualification consists of two units:
• Unit 1 - The Principles of Lifesaving and Swimming Pool Supervision.
• Unit 2 - The Application of Supervision and Rescue in a Swimming Pool. The NPLQ is awarded on the successful completion of both units. The NPLQ is widely recognised as the professional benchmark in the leisure industry and will provide you with the opportunity for employment at most UK swimming pools.
